Hi Dick

Ik zie dat niemand nog gereageerd heeft, dus ik zal even kort op je vraag
reageren.
Als eerste is OpenOffice ontwikkeld als gratis alternatief voor een office
pakket.
Omdat OpenOffice vanwege allerlei redenen niet meer verder ontwikkeld werd,
heeft een groep zich afgesplitst en is LibreOffice als alternatief gaan
ontwikkelen.
Nu is LibreOffice veel verder doorontwikkeld dan OpenOffice en een aanrader
voor iedereen die een goed, volledig en gratis office pakket wil gebruiken.

Dus OpenOffice en LibreOffice staan niet echt naast elkaar. Alleen aan
LibreOffice heb je meer dan genoeg om aan al je office behoeften te voldoen.

En als we dan al een bastaard zijn, ben ik trots om bij die bastaard
aangesloten te zijn ;-))

Ineens zit ik met LibreOffice en dat werkt ook.

Even duidelijk:
platform Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
dualboot Windows XP ten behoeve van echtgenote

Vraag:
waarom OpenOffice en LibreOffice naast elkaar?

Ik was al blij dat MSOffice (€600) ten dode is opgeschreven...
Is er toch een bastaard geboren?
