うぎゃあああ、「見当合わせ」って提案が目に入ってませんでした。

ただ、個人的には「見当合わせ」とこの機能はちょっと違うのかなー
と思ってます。

前掲の：

によると、

「The style:register-true property specifies whether the lines on both
sides of a printed page match when a document is printed using
two-sided printing, It also ensures that the text in page columns or
text box columns is arranged in such a way that the text baselines
seem to run from one column to another. See also section 15.2.12.」

で、「両面印刷や段組み印刷などで行のベースラインを揃える」機能なので、
ページの見当合わせとは違う機能のように思えるからです。

けれど、前述のように私は商業印刷については素人なので、「いや、そういう
機能も見当合わせと呼ぶし、そう言われれば分かる」ということであれば、
それを否定は（もちろん）できません。

原文の間違いなのか、vertical page grid というのが「垂直方向に並ぶグリッド」
ということなのか（それはないか……？）なのかはよく分からないのですが、
baseline というのは水平方向のものなので、それを縦に揃えるという概念が
成り立たない気がしますです。
