Indeed. Main-installation on Mac is: Double-click the dmg you
downloaded, then drag the icon to the applications folder (for
convenience, there is a link within the dmg) or to any other folder of
your choice.
Languagepack installation is: Double-click the dmg you downloaded,
double-click the installer that is included in the dmg, then follow
instructions (basically always click "next")
HOWEVER:
The latest version of Mac OSX has some "security measures" active that
make it complain when trying to install an unsingned package.
So please include the info/add a pointer to

that describes how to install nevertheless.
