and if any of the newly-introduced limitations for spam protection
interrupt with your productive work

Hi

I know, from administrator's view ReCaptcha is a good tool to keep away
spam and bots.

From visitor's view ReCaptcha is a horrible hurdle especially for
disabled people, we had this discussion on mailing lists and
"Bug 54200 - TDF Site: remove Captcha from German "Participate" page
("Mitmachen")"
 <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54200>

It's not inviting to find the doorsteps protected with barbwire and tank
traps; long time ago I decided not to visit Websites with ReCaptcha because I failed to find the correct input too often.

Please try an other solution to protect the wiki from bots.

Best regards

Rainer
