I believe that as soon as we have the forum up and running, there will be
volunteers to take care of the forum administration.
I think you might be right about this, though it might be good to be
sure that we have a few before we start out. I should probably clarify
that I would not be able to cope with the workload of moderating an
English forum. I believe the lack of interest for an official forum is
based on existing forums already exists in many languages. Norway and
Denmark seems to have merged forums with their old OpenOffice-forums.
Which we probably would have do in Sweden as well if one would exist.
We can start with a non-localized one and we open the localized ones as
soon as we have at least 2 volunteers to take care for the localized one to
be opened.
Please note, we already have 2 people (Niklas and Lucian) who seems to be
willing to start caring for the forum.
The Swedish community have had a lot of requests for a native forum, be
it official or not. The only thing that I care about at this point is
getting that set up (sorry for being a bit harsh here). Now, if there is
a chance of getting a forum that fits nicely into the current website,
then I think it might be worth waiting for. I'm sorry to say that I
don't have a lot of experience with forums myself I have quite little to
offer when it comes to helping out setting everything up.
Is there anyone from libreofficeforum.org here? Would it be an option to
migrate to an official platform or make libreofficeforum an official
platform? or maybe a recommended platform if we decide that "ask" is
enough and we don't need an official forum as well.
I feel a little bad asking for so much when I can't help out more.

Thanks for all the work being put into LibreOffice
