indeed, a quick Googling around seems to confirm your thoughts - if some
settings are made, it seems to be no problem legally. Mea culpa, I
didn't follow the topic anymore, since we have been discussing it the
last time (when, at least judging from today's search results, it was
still considered to be a legal problem, so at least I was not totally
wrong :-).
I'll keep out from the technical discussion for the while. My preference
is to collect all data locally, but if there is indeed no legal concern
anymore, it is no blocker to use another tool, of course.
