(they do get displayed of course, but there is no "search and
auto-suggest" field for that, only for first, lastname and email, with
any of those one can just start typing the first letters and the
system will provide a list of matching users tot pick from. When only
the nick is given we would need to search the user that belongs to the
nick and then go back to the group-management form, which is annoying
:-))

Thanks a lot once again to Erich for dealing with all the requests
while I have been more or less absent in the last couple days
