Also what will happen with extensions which are a big question mark. Is
there going to be a review board of some sort?

in a nut shell yes. If they are turning out to be spam, we had to
unpublish them (and maybe contact the owner and tell him that we will
delete it or we decide delete the content directly.). I would vote for
the second one (delete directly).
