we need a few reviewer for the both new sites. They have to look
over new projects on
the sites and decide, if the projects fits our policy (license etc.)
and are not spam
or something similar. If you have some experience in that field and
some remaining
spare time, please raise your hand, register an account on one or
both sites (they
are currently independent in user management) and ask Florian
Effenberger (floeff at
documentfoundation.org) for the necessary rights.
dumb question, but how do I grant the necessary rights? ;-) Didn't
play with the interface that much, but I guess I just assign reviewer
in the user rights to make the magic happen?
Florian
Andreas can u elaborate on what you mean by fits our policy. What is
said policy. Will there be a page for reviewers to read up on the
policy and what we need to review?
The reviewer should look about the license and that the project intent
to be usefull for LibO (not spam, joke etc.). If we look later at the
files, we had to test, if they work with specific versions of LibO. But
that is not the task for the reviewer, when he decides if he publishe
the project or not.
But he should have an eye on the projects he published.
Regards,
Andreas
