Michael and Christian:

I have worked a bit on the "Support" section of the site. Just roughed in.
There was a problem with adding an extra line at the bottom of the page. I
wanted to add more text, but every time I did an "Enter" on my keyboard, the
input window blinks and some text goes missing. I didn't have enough time to
check out the reason for this as I am off to an appointment. Try adding a
blank line at the bottom of the page in edit mode after the
"Mail-Archive.com"

Well - the text doesn't vanish, there just is a big amount of
whitespace that causes the content to scroll out of the viewing area.
This is explained easily by looking at the corresponding html-source:
<div style="min-height:1000px">
<strong>users@libreoffice.org:</strong> User support list for
LibreOffice<br />Subscription: <a
href="mailto:users+subscribe@libreoffice.org";>users+subscribe@libreoffice.org</a><br
/>
Digest subscription: <a
href="mailto:users+subscribe-digest@libreoffice.org";>users+subscribe-digest@libreoffice.org</a><br
/>
Archives: <a
href="http://www.libreoffice.org/lists/users/";>http://www.libreoffice.org/lists/users/</a><br
/>
Mail-Archive.com: <a
href="http://www.mail-archive.com/users@libreoffice.org/";>http://www.mail-archive.com/users@libreoffice.org/</a></div>
<div style="min-height:1000px"></div>

I don't know where you pasted from/how you pasted - but the
"min-heigt:1000px" is causing the problem in this case.

div tags with that declaration are added multiple times in the code.

Would be interesting how they were added - whether they were already
in the source or whether they were added by your browser while
pasting.

(When copy'n'paste from existing webpages, I usually use the browser's
html-view and copy the sourcecode and copy it into the html-source
view of the editor)

I also had the same problem with the text reads: Traffic on the mailist may
at times be busy and informative.
Note that ..."

I tried to add a blank line there and the input window would blink again and
remove blocks of text.

Well, not remove, but scroll out of sight.

I'll try again later.

I'll remove the unnecessary divs, then everything should behave as expected.

ciao
Christian
