Well, indeed the columns break can't be moved like this... I simply
moved the page breaks there.

Here is a screenshot of what I currently have implemented for the page
break indicator. Any opinion on that?

It looks much better than the current solution.

Question:
If the pages are shown 'side by side' or shown in 'book mode', where do you show the page break then? It is possible to set a page break "before" or "after". Do you have considered to make this visible?
