To:users@global.libreoffice.orgSubject: [libreoffice-users] Problem with chapter numbering and
TOC.Hi Dave,

Dave Barton schrieb am 17-Nov-19 um 09:19:I have created a sample document with a near identical
structure and

much appreciated if someone could take a look at this
document and offer any suggestions about why the automatically generated
chapter headings are not appearing in the TOC.Your headings have no content. You need to write at
least a blank.

Kind regards
ReginaSorry Regina, can you explain what you mean by "no content". The chapter
headings are auto-generated by the "Heading 1" paragraph style and are
clearly visible in the first paragraph of each chapter break in the
document and also in the Navigator.

When the Chapter Numbering dialog is first opened both the Before and
After fields are empty. I filled the Before field with the word
"Chapter" plus one space.

Thanksregards
Dave
