Your post helped me appreciate that, despite using OO/LO for years (usually successfully), I had not developed a proper
grounding in the principles of image and frame positioning, and the different ways that LO exposes those positioning
choices to the user in the dialog box and the context menus. (For example, the "To page" anchor is included
in the dialog box but excluded from the context menu, while the Alignment and Adjustment choices are included in the
context menu but excluded from the dialog box.) I'm not sure that all of the best UI choices have been made, but I am
sure that they have been made thoughtfully - and I'm less inclined to think I know how to do it "better".
