I want to add my 2 cents to this thread, reminding all readers about the 
article [1] from Italo Vignoli, regarding Microsoft Fonts Substitution: 
I think it's always a good reading.

I'm using "Noto Serif" in LibreOffice Writer.  But, it looks a bit
crowded.  I prefer "Times Roman" style.  So, I tried other Serif fonts,
but not really satisfied.

What font are you using that resembles Times Roman?
