Dennis Geurten, who opened this thread, asked for a way to view 
documents preview for files recently opened.

And you don't have a way to see it, if you have a LO module opened.

That's why I suggested to close all open documents.

There is no reason to go to the main menu, when a file is opened.
Every function is possible using the upper menu bar, without closing the current file...
