I liked OS/2 when I was using it. If I remember correctly I purchased a 
copy of version 1.2 really cheap about the time Warp3 was coming out. It 
included DB2 and a bunch of development tools and I was able to upgrade 
to Warp for free.  I can't remember exactly what I did but I would 
periodicity get a bunch of cd's with all kinds of interesting stuff on 
them. Redbooks, updates, etc. I kept using it through the eComStation 
days but finally it got just to hard to use it anymore so I switched to 
linux.
