Hi Gabriele,one thing that could have been misunderstood. I wrote that there is only one way to get a formula working when you enter the formula string into a text cell: change the format to some number format and eliminate the single quote.
Of course the other way round is possible. If there already is a formula in a number cell you can change the cell format to text and so only format the formula's output.
But Thomas evidently had inserted the formula string into a text cell. So I didn't mention all the rest.
