I think you will have to ensure the cell numbers are consistent as they may change during the paste.

I copied the function (working and not working) from column H to column B.
The working copy to B came up after adjusting the range with the
expected value.
The NOT working copy showed the exact same function as the original one =
it still had the range defined for column H.
The working copy had automatically adjusted to column B.
HERE must be something at work, that is not supposed to happen.
