Hello this is a quick bug report about a catastrophic problem in Libre.
When a .gif is dragged into a slide, the program continues to allocate
memory, but does not deallocate memory, eventually causing a catastrophic
crash which can lose hours of work.
The other problem is that there is no session save, to prevent catastrophic
loss if a bug is to occur.
You may do whatever you want with this information
KIND REGARDS!
It would be helpful to know if you're using an Animated GIF or not.  Not
all GIF images are animated.  I just tried a quick test and dragging a
GIF I created to a slide didn't result in memory exhaustion at all.
Thanks!
Peace...
