I think I'm missing something basic but I'm not finding the answer in
any of the Calc help topics. They all seem to assume that the Wizard
will correctly use the ranges of values that's in the spreadsheet.
I've created a spreadsheet with two columns, date and wealth.
Date (col A) ranges from 2020-06-30 to 2022-09-30.
Wealth ranges between $2,400,000 and $2,895,000.
When I click Insert->Chart, the result shows $0 to $3,500,000 on the
y-axis even those the actual range of values is only up to just under
$2,900,000.
More frustratingly, the chart insists on starting the dates on the
x-axis from June 1, 1931 rather than June 30,2020, with the result that
all the bar graph is bunched at the extreme right.
I have no idea why the chart is not choosing the range of dates that's
in the spreadsheet and I can't find any way of adjusting the range.
In the Chart Wizard the Data Range is correctly shown as $A$2:$B$12.
What am I missing here?
