Hi,

MR ZenWiz schrieb:
For the first time in a very long time, I am in a position of having
to use Windows 7 at work. I installed LO 5.3.4 for use with my
personal documents (and as many others as I can do without MSO), but
there is a problem.

The default printer on the system is a local industrial laser printer,
but for some reason, LO always defaults to print to "Send to OneNote
2013." This happens both in Writer and Calc.

The strangest part is that when I click on File -> Printer Settings,
the right printer shows up highlighted, with all the others also on
the list. It just tries to print to OneNote instead.

You mean, if you print from that Dialog and you have selected the correct printer in the list, it nevertheless prints to OneNote?

Do you get the printer properties of the selected printer in that dialog?

I don't have this problem on any of my Xubuntu personal computers
(desktop or notebook).

What am I missing?

Are you sure, that the default printer is correctly set in Windows 7, not in some LibreOffice dialog but directly in Windows 7 ?

Do you have the problem for new documents or for existing documents? You can disable the option "Load printer settings with the document" in Tools > Options > Load/Save > General, so that LibreOffice does not try to use a printer setting, which is stored in the document, where the printer might not be available.

I'm working on Windows 7, but do not have such problems, with neither of the LibreOffice versions.

Kind regards
Regina
