Hi Larry,
Every time I open a database (or create a new one) LibreOffice
crashes as soon as I click on anything. Totally unusable.
There seems to be a problem with Oracle-Java and Mac OS:
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94716
If there is installed Apples Java also, this bug doesen't appear.
I have Apple's Java installed. That bug is not the problem and was fixed in LibreOffice.
However the latest comments on that report lead to a new bug
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101057 which is the cause of my problem.
I only use it occasionally so I don't know which update caused it
to quit. LibreOffice and Java have been updated since I last used
it.
LibreOffice: Version: 5.2.0.4
Java: jdk1.8.0_101.jdk
Mac OS X version 10.11.6
Regards
Robert
