I would raise a bug as the clipboard content for text/richtext does indeed appear to be RTF. It appears to have always been this way, based on cursory tests using v3.3.4.1. Referring to bug tdf#40262: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40262 ... it is worth noting that clipboard representations are sometimes internal, although I would think the MIME type should represent an accurate reflection of what to expect.
