Can I point out a slight problem I have in Impress when I try to launch a slide show from any particular slide, using Shift F5 it always starts from the first slide and not from the current slide that is highlighted.

What version of LibreOffice are you using? (If you dare to say "the latest version", you will be awarded multiple demerit points!) This behaviour has been reported as a bug - which is claimed to have been corrected in some versions. You may want to add your evidence, if appropriate, to the bug reporting system.

Possible workarounds you could try:

o Go to Slide Show | Slide Show Settings... and select an alternative starting slide.

o Hover over the relevant slide in the Slides panel. Do you see a bar including Start Slide Show? Does that do what you need?

o Start the slide show (wherever it starts). Right-click the screen and select Go to Slide > and select your desired starting slide. This technique works best if you have given your slides meaningful names.

I trust this helps.
