Hi :)
Returning to the 3.5.7 does make sense if you already have the
installer or already have it installed.

However it might be good to upgrade to the 3.6.6 or 4.0.6 or 4.1.4 if
you are going to have to download anything.  All those have reached
stable releases so just pick the one before the one that gave you
problems
