Hi :) i don't know :( i would recommend 2 steps; 1. posting a bug-report about it asap. This is the perfect time for catching the most interest from the most devs. 2. go back to the one that worked or do a parallel install so you can use the older for blogs and keep using the 4.2.0 to see if you can find anything else.
