This is really starting to infuriate me...
Why, when working in an .ods spreadsheet, if I copy a number from a
cell, and go to paste>special it into another cell, does it often (not
every time, still can't pin it down) sometimes come up with the only
op[tion as 'Unformatted text' from 'Unknown source'???
This is insane!
I have had this problem off and on when copy/pasting numbers between
.csv files and .ods spreadheets, but even then it isn't every time.
What is going on here?
If you're in edit mode (e.g. by pressing F2, double clicking a cell, or
copying from the input bar above the spreadsheet), the text is copied as
plain text, and you get the option to paste as "Unformatted text" from
"Unknown source".
Yes, I've known about this one... but even this one didn't always happen
even before the problem started occurring within the same sheet..
If you click a cell or select a range of cells, you then get the options
to paste formulas, values etc.
I agree this is what should (and what used to) happen, but no longer...
Could this be what's happening?
Nope...
