red line indicates that your spell checker is working.Did you select a custom dictiionary in 
    settings/writing aids? I checked their: standard for all and all
    words of all languages I am using and are not found in the normal
    dictionairies are in there.I enter them the same way you decribed.On 12/15/2012 12:58 PM, Mark 
By right clicking on the word (When it has the red
      line under it and spell check on) I chooseaddto add it
      to thedictionary,
        but it does NOT add it. I was hoping there was a setting I have
        missed to fix this or a way to add acustom
        dictionary that works.
I am using

          Windows 7 Home Premium 32 BitLibraOffice
          Version (Build ID: 2ef5aff)
