Hi Andrew,

Thank-you.
Whilst macros are beyond my present skill level, I am willing to poke around
in a .XML file.
Having done so, and re-zipped the results, LibreOffice tells me the file is
corrupt - if we assume my edits were valid do you happen to know whether I
have to do anything specific when re-zipping the edited files? (MS Windows
7 with WinZip or 7-Zip if it makes a difference).

How do you zip the content? When you unzip the document, you get a folder containing file content.xml and a lot of other files and sub-folders. When you zip it, you must not zip the folder, but mark its whole content (files and sub-folders) and zip this.

Kind regards
Regina
