Perhaps the simplest way is to install Debian - there are already packages for 
ARM in repository.
There is official port to armel ( and unofficial 
(it just means that it has not yet met quality criteria - you can expect some 
bugs and rough edges) port to armhf (

Although if you want to run LO on touchscreen device, it may be quite unusable 
because of user interface which was created with mouse and keyboard in mind.
