Hi all,
D'you think if I avoid the issue long enough Alex will translate the
monster Report Builder tutorial? ;-)
Just an update on this - I've started translating the Report Builder
tutorial in its current French form from the French FAQ. I've reached
point 7 so far. There may be inaccuracies in some of the terms in
English compared to the actual menus, because the Designer crashed LO
completely on my Mac when fiddling with the fields from my sample db.
Also, some of the functionality being described I have never actually
used, so caveat emptor.
I don't know whether those functions still work properly, in particular
the inserting charts bit, because I remember there being a problem with
them early on in 3.4 development and conflicting with Calc, so Kohei or
Markus may well have changed things in that area which have had an
impact on the ability to insert and use charts in Base reports.
I'm perfectly happy to let someone else take over as when they get time,
but I'll be slowing down for a while here, I don't have much "LO" time
around at the moment. At least half a translation is better than no
translation :-))
