This is using the mysql connector, yes?

No. Connecting to an HSQL file using the java connector. I just filed a
bug on it, *Bug 46480*
<https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46480>, after not finding
anything else in Bugzilla that describes it. (My apologies if it ends up
being a duplicate; I often have trouble finding things on the Bugzilla
search.)

*chuckling* - you are not alone my friend. the new system can be a bear.
Not sure if you have tried using the Bug reporting assistant:
http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/
(though just now it doesn't seem to want to work :(

Anyway - it has a much nicer front end, particularly where searching is
concerned, as it automatically does so.
