Hi :) The French team made a very nice FAQ (=Frequently Asked Questions) and that 'is' being translated into English but Documentation is a very tiny team and needs a lot more people if we want things like that to get done. People would rather show-off on a list like this than put the work in to something like documentation (err i am one of those that i am criticising btw). Some people do both of course ... This is something you come across on many Software Sites as new versions come out. I think it would help a lot of people who are investigating moving TO the new Software OR moving UP TO the latest version. I can start off by suggesting... 1) LibreOffice Base DOES NOT connect to older OpenOffice Databases. (SDBC Driver error) 2) (From what I'm reading) LibreOffice Base DOES NOT work with SQL Connector under Linux. (I hope somebody can correct me on this as this is the way I want to go but reading about it seems to suggest this is a "No Go" at the moment.) 3) Use ONLY Java 1.6.0_21 with LibreOffice Base to get best performance. 4) .................. (I'm sure others can add to this list.) Let's "park" this somewhere and have it updated as things get fixed or change???
