Another response suggested using links instead of embedded images. I think the links will work better for me overall. I can go as much as a year without even turning on my color printer. But then when I need it, I can have hundreds of photos to print.
I use the method I suggested for a replacing or updating less than a dozen images. For "hundreds" I think the best method is indeed to use links pointing to a folder where the images are named from 0001.jpg to 9999.jpg and in future uses just replace the images. If this under Windows there are a few excellent batch rename utilities. Even Open Source, like this one http://file-folder-ren.sourceforge.net/ I'm glad I could help ;) -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Replacing-graphic-images-in-documents-tp3545409p3548826.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+help@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
