A "work around", perhaps, to make this do what you want.
Add your video clip to a page.
Add custom animation
-- select the 'Misc Effects' tab
-- select item 'Toggle Pause'
OK
In the Custom Animation sidbase
-- change the start property to 'After previous'
Add a secod custom animation
-- select the 'Misc Effects' tab
-- select item 'Start Media'
OK
Leave the start property as 'On Click'
That's do it. Works for me.
