Looked through all the folders in the 3/user folder and didnt find a ~.lock file.

In the folder where the problematic file is there might be a file that starts with ".~lock." if 
there is then that is probably the problem.  Just delete it.

Hi guys, 

It gives me that error when I try to open a doc. or even when i just try to start LOffice. I had 
deleted the app. in the apps folder and the 3 folder and the plist in application support. when I 
went to download the program at www.libreoffice.org it gave me the same error message.
