The only big thing for me for downloading the next version is the fact
that the newer versions tend to do the .docx and the .xltx reading
better than the older ones. I think 3.4.x line may do it better than
the 3.3.x line, of so I have heard.
So I kept 3.4.1 on my Ubuntu 10.04 desktop, and now looking to update it
to 3.4.3 in the next week or so. [As soon as I finish fixing a computer
for a friend]

I use 32-bit, Desktop. I would do the download, but it appears that
there is no urgent reason to do so.

Are you running 32 or 64 bit version of Ubuntu? Desktop or laptop?
Does not really matter, but it would be nice to know.
