Hi Regina,
What kind of data base engine do you use? When you have opened the
odb-file you see it left in the status bar. I guess it is "Embedded
database HSQL database engine".
Yes, the status bar says 'Embedded database' and 'HSQL database engine'.
Do you have set a primary key for your table? Without it, you cannot
work with the table.
Yes, I set a primary key, integer type, auto-value set to 'yes'.
Do you have choosen a JRE in LibO? Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Java.
Yes, the JRE selected is Sun Microsystems, version 1.6.0_22, 'with
accessibility'. No parameters are class paths are set.
When you will work with Base, you need some basics about data bases in
general. Do you have worked with other data bases already?
I used to work extensively with Oracle using PL/SQL. I was not responsible
for database schemas, however, and I only created a few temporary tables
to assist with my query work.
