I don't know if this is a bug or a shortcoming of LO.
On my mac LO3.4.1 I can see the images but not create a PDF with images
with the PDF button.
On my Suse linux with LO3.3.2 I can see the images and create the pdf
with images ok with the PDF button.
On win7 with LO3.3.3 I can't see the images or print the PDF with images
with the PDF button, just place holders.
Before I file a bug, what is the intended (correct) action for LO.

Hi,
Reproduced with Mac OS X ; LibreOffice 3.4.2RC1
If this document is (very) important you can export as PDF following
another method:
- File < Print...
- On the bottom left -> PDF > Save as PDF...
This method works fine here.
When reported, please post bugnumber. I would like to follow this up :).
Kind regards,
Joren

Hi.
I don't know if this a regression or difference in platform.
If I print this file to pdf (the little pdf button) on my mac in
LO3.4.1 the images don't come out (just place holders).
If I print to pdf on my Suse with LO3.3.2 the images print fine.

If someone could confirm this as a regression (or not) I will file a
bug (or not).
