Hi :) I think OpenOffice forums are better at dealing with Base questions as they have more Base experts answering questions over there. I think this is an issue about a table that lacks an ID field. See these guides http://www.inpics.net/tutorials/access2007/basics16.html http://www.inpics.net/tutorials/base2/basics19.html Hopefully that should fix it. Good luck and regards from Tom :) ________________________________ From: us90na <us90na@yahoo.com> To: users@libreoffice.org Sent: Sun, 10 April, 2011 4:06:12 Subject: [libreoffice-users] Can't add new tables - error msg I developed a database in Access and "connected" then saved it into Base. I can read my tables but when I go to add a new table I get the error "Could not append colum: invalid column descriptor." And when I click OK I get, "Error while saving the table design. Invalid field definition "id' in definition of index or relationship" I am running WinXP and Java 1.6.0_24 Thanks for the help -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Can-t-add-new-tables-error-msg-tp2801285p2801285.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to users+help@libreoffice.org Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to users+help@libreoffice.org Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
