Unless Apple has done something very weird*, I'd guess it would work. OS/X is, after all, BSD
unix underneath, right? But, I don't have a Mac handy to confirm.

-nolockcheck don't check for remote instances using the installation

Check the path. I have an extra folder (Additions) for things I've added. ymmv.
