HI :)

Ok, so my 5th option wasn't great.  I didn't realise how restrictive those 
wonderful MicroSoft products are.  The odt is fairly fine in Windows on MSO 2007 
& 2010.  Perhaps stick with the remaining 4 options especially the one about 
passing people the link to download LibreOffice.  At least you don't have to 
uninstall MS Office to install LibreOffice!

I wouldn't recommend this. MS-ODF differs in a number of ways from everybody 
else's ODF, and spreadsheets in particular get really mangled. The problems are 
not as apparent with text documents, but.... 

Neither MS Office for Macs 2008 or 20011 support ODF.
