I use Ctrl-G to 'group' (merge) cells. It works to merge cells, but
not to unmerge (split) them as it did in OO.o

Are you sure you did not assign a macro to this key?

If not, can you write what keys you used in OO to do this?

My problem: In Calc, I frequently merge and unmerge (split) cells. In
OO.org I was able to assign a key combo to one of the two 'Format -
Merge' entries. (Don't know why there were two, but there were two
going back several versions.) The one I really, really, really liked,
and assigned to a key combo would merge selected cells AND unmerge
(split) previously merged cells with the same key combo. I tried
setting it up in LibreOffice, but it only merges. It doesn't unmerge
(split).

Am I missing something? Is there a solution? If not, can it be fixed?

TIA
