Hi, Alexander,
the Frutiger fonts I need to use are postscript type 1-outline-fonts, at least for Mac - I own them
as truetype-fonts, but only for Windows...
Thanks for Your efforts!
yours,
Steffen

thanks for Your quick reply - yes, it seems erratic to me, too, and yes, the Frutiger-Fonts
appear in other Mac apps as well as in the systemwide useable fontmenu (usually opens at
cmd+t)...
Any ideas how to fix that erratic prob?
Well you could try adding them to this directory :
Applications/LibreOffice/Contents/basis-link/share/fonts/truetype
To do that, you have to right click on the LibreOffice application in
the Finder and display the contents of the packet with a right mouse
button click.
After copying, you will probably have to restart LibreOffice in order
for the fonts to appear.
As an aside, you will notice that the fonts directory indicated above
includes fonts which do not show up in the Apple fonts manager app. You
can add them to the system fonts to be able to use them across the
system, but because the Finder doesn't recognise zipped / packaged
folder contents from applications, you have to copy the fonts directory
somewhere where the Finder can see it first (e.g. your Desktop).
HTH,
Alex
