Now that you're mentioning it: no. But I do think we should put this ISO
somewhere on our servers first before pointing people to it. We just got
out of the SourceForge sh*tstorm - Let me ping the infra team for that.

Best,
Charles.

Thanks! Perhaps, seeing as Tim was away ill for all of those days
(weeks) that he is not completely aware of the SourceForge debacle ...
he may want to read up on it.

The SF debacle with the GIMP Windows install file should not affect an
ISO file, hopefully. Since it does not depend on an executable file,
such as .exe, to unpack and install the .iso file, there would not be
any chance for them to insert some "extras". Well, that said, the only
way it would happen would be for them to recreate the .iso file itself.
The only thing that is executable is the auto loading the DVD's initial
HTML file to the browser, within Windows of course. I do that for ease
of use for a Windows user, since the most OS downloads were/are from
Windows systems. Of course, Debian based Linux systems just show an
icon on the "open desktop" when the DVD is inserted in the
reader/burner. Much prefer Linux's security, and free software, over
Windows for most of my needs.

YES, it would be great to have the ISO file uploaded to a TDF server. If
there was another free service, such as SF, for a free repository for
files as large as a DVD, i.e. 3.7 to 4.0 gig in size, I would like to
know. My hosting service does not allow such file sizes and no
repository functioning within its service contract.

My only issue for uploading the ISO file[s] is the fact that my upload
speed for my Internet access is slow, where it can take 10 hours +/- to
upload and my web access is almost nonexistent while the uploading is
going on - i.e. do it at night with no monitoring for connection and/or
system issues.

Does this prevent you from uploading to our servers rather than the SF servers? I seem to recall that you had some issues with uploading to our servers.
