Well as people take pictures at different events around the world, hopefully they will post them so they can be used in the donation page[s].

It would be nice to see more than white college student/teacher looking people in the photos.

Maybe there are some photos at some event booths that might be good here as well. We do not need to just show "work sessions".

Hi :)
If we have pictures of people then i think a good mix of people might help. All white, youngish
chaps in jeans and t-shirts looks more like a national-front rally than an international community.

Tom :)

Subject: [libreoffice-marketing] does look rather sterile -- lets mix in community
pictures into the slideshow

FYI, I just filed:

and would be happy for comments. It says:

"The frontpage of the product at:

look rather sterile. The slideshow could be a way to improve that. Instead of
showing only screenshots, we should show in turns:

- one screenshot
- one community picture

making the page warmer and more human.

I would also suggest to make a click on the picture go to the Donate side -- at
least for the time of the donation run. We have a huge download button on the
frontpage and dont need the ambiguous clicks on the slideshow to lead there

"Community pictures" are those we use in the donation slideshow.
