Hi :)
Yes, people can doubt.
If they don't scratch the surface even a little bit and only look at the photos of the BoD. One
member of one of the sub-committees is unlikely to assuage their doubts. Actually the pseudo
head-of-documentation is also female but she doesn't want the title of leader even though everyone
in the docs team treat her as one and she is an inspiring natural leader.
Regards from
Tom :)

We should take notice that although there were a few founders that were/are female none of those
have stood for election. All BoD members are white, well educated and male. Luckily there seems
to be some diversity in ethnicity or at least in the countries people come from.
well, I don't think this is a TDF problem. No one can doubt that we are open, independent from
gender, nationality and color of skin. IMHO, this openness and how TDF members should treat each
other is even in our statues. If you are aware of any case where people were treated unfairly, feel
free to directly ping me offlist, so we can investigate.
And about elections: Sophie is female, and she has been elected into the MC. :-)
I really think that we as a group, as a project and a community can grow together and get to know
each other much better if we use all means of communication, including video. I think everyone here
is respected, no matter how she or he looks.
Florian
