Now I'm confused. I thought the room was closed and didn't work at all?
Which room did you dial in?
Florian, the room worked until I dialled in as conference manager. As
soon as I started the conference, the room was blocked from the outside
although it looked open from inside (the locker icon was open). When I
realized that the room was blocked from the outside, I tried to block
and unblock it several times, but it didn't work.
So, at the end in the room there were Drew, Charles and myself.
I have send a summary of what we discussed, which is attached here:
TDF Certification: comments and suggestions
We have discussed with Drew some possible issues and some US
specificities. We have agreed on the fact that is a challenge for the
project, but is something that we have to try if we want to make the
project self sustaining.
LibreOffice Conference: the marketing track
I would like to understand which are the preferences re the marketing
track. I personally think that we should have sessions where we discuss
global marketing issues (for instance, how to coordinate local projects
spanning several geographies) and sessions where we share experiences
(and grow our skills in specific areas, like media relations or
presenting in public).
TDF Media Pre-Briefings will start in July
We have received a couple of media requests for pre-briefings, and I
would like to start around July 10 with the pre-briefing dedicated to
the certification project (very short introduction, and then long Q&A
session). I would like to gather several community members for the
pre-briefings, in order to avoid the solo singer effect.
