As this has again been up for discussion on some lists. I have put together a list of points important to consider regarding the use of LibreOffice in the world of academia (University; College; Research & Development; Grant/Subsidy requests etc.) NOT LibreOffice at the pre-elementary; elementary; high school etc. levels.

Feel free to add to the page if you find a topic in this area that we should examine a little more closely.
