Hi, well, if you want libreoffice from your distribution, then install it from your distribution - as simple as that. http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=libreoffice&searchon=names&suite=unstable§ion=all http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=libreoffice&searchon=names&suite=natty§ion=all ciao Christian
Well good link. But "Natty" is 11.04, right? Should you install Natty 11.04 on a "Maverick" 10.10 system? Now that Debian and Ubuntu have their repositories [ or at least the next update/upgrade does ], there can be a "note" in the "your" promotion of LibreOffice being shown in the next version and repository for Debian and Ubuntu. I wonder if the RPM versions of Linux are "listed" with LibreOffice in their repositories. Since I use Ubuntu 10.10, I do not use .rpm files.
